Weddings with a Personal Touch
Over and over again, people tell us how important it is for their officiant to make personal those important, life-changing, memory-making moments of a wedding ceremony. Much of the time we spend together prior to the ceremony is not only for us to put together the details of the perfect wedding, but to get to know each other and your personal love story so that the words spoken in your ceremony are perfect.
Your Ceremony – Not Ours
What’s most important is that you end up with the wedding of your dreams. We invite couples to design their ceremony around their own unique desires and wants, but we also have plenty of resources and wording choices to offer in the planning process. Want to use traditional vows? Great! Or maybe you want to write your own vows– that’s great, too! We’ve performed ceremonies in unique places and under unique circumstances, some with huge wedding parties and some with intimate small groups. We also offer several special moments within the ceremony: unity candle lighting, gifting of roses, sand ceremony, and more. Make the wedding experience unique to your relationship and family situation. Go completely traditional or do something that has never been done before. Make your wedding about YOU! Our job will be to help make it work so that on the other side of the special occasion, you will be able to say, “That’s exactly what we were hoping our wedding ceremony would be!”
Sacred or Secular?
While most of our officiants are Christian pastors, we are fully aware that not all couples share our personal beliefs. We offer civil ceremonies without any religious content whatsoever. They are still beautiful personal expressions of the love you share for one another. If you desire a religious ceremony, we will pick wording that best reflects your faith practice. The content of our religious ceremonies reflect a Christian tradition and include several options from which you may choose. Some prefer that prayers addressing “God” be used in the ceremony. Others want to include the name of “Jesus.” Some want "The Lord’s Prayer," some don’t. Again, your wedding – your choices.
Also Serving the LGBTQ Community
As advocates of marriage equality, our clergy are equally at home and excited about officiating at same-gender weddings. The wording for these ceremonies speak to the unique gift within each situation and celebrate the marriage between two people, reflecting the same love that unites all couples, regardless of gender.
Counseling Available
Some of our clergy have extensive backgrounds in counseling couples about to get married. For an additional fee, counseling services can be provided. Clergy can share with you their counseling approaches and techniques at your first meeting, if you are interested.*
*Counseling is not a requirement for us to perform your ceremony.

About Our Clergy
About OC Clergy Connection’s Founder:
Rev. Tim Edmondson has been a pastor for 28 years and is currently serving at Hope Lutheran Church in Riverside, California. He is a part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, one of the largest Protestant Christian denominations in the country. He has extensive experience in performing weddings and many years of training in pre-marital and marital counseling.
Our clergy are highly qualified and experienced in performing weddings. All of our clergy are ordained, some are retired, and some are serving churches. They are male and female, highly personal, and even possess a good sense of humor. Clergy who are part of OC Clergy Connection are carefully screened and share the excellent values of our company.
